Hi (awkward wave)

I’m Steph. I’m 25 years old and  live in the pretty town of Cheltenham. The home of Cheltenham Ladies College, the Gold Cup, centre of the Cotswolds and where some say the term ‘Chav’ originated from (link). Not so proud of the latter.

I started blogging a couple of years ago. I realised I posted all these photographs to social media sites without any story behind them. Blogging enables me to bridge the gap between writing and photography.

Apart from the occasional trip abroad I noticed my blog posts followed a similar theme – Cheltenham. I love writing about the town I grew up in, what it has to offer on a daily basis and throughout the year.

When I’m not blogging I’m working in Bristol at a digital publishing company as a front-end developer. Slightly loose job title which encompasses sending out daily emails, creative client work and coding. When I’m not blogging or working I’m out taking photographs.

I hope you enjoy my ramblings and please feel free to leave comments – I love reading them.

Anything else you want to know just ask, or you can email me at stephdearing@gmail.com

I loved Six Degrees of Separation – it’s just what Cheltenham needs. Easily one of my new favs for some chilled-out drinks.
