Audrey Hepburn: Portraits of an Icon at Cheltenham Art Gallery

I love photographs of people, whether you are doing street photography, catching subjects off guard or more posed shots, like portrait photography.

An icon such as Audrey Hepburn can get away with both such styles. Looking elegantly poised in any photograph.

The exhibition ‘Audrey Hepburn: Portraits of an icon’ highlights not just Audrey Hepburns beauty but also documents her life. From her early years as a ballet dancer and chorus girl right through to her later life doing philanthropic work.

The exhibition is currently on a tour in Cheltenham’s The Wilson art Gallery in the town centre. A great opportunity for those who haven’t been able to make it to the National Portrait Gallery in London where it usually exhibits.

I was very kindly invited along to this fascinating exhibition of one of the world’s most photographed and recognised stars.

Her portrait is mesmerising; you are transported through the gallery in complete awe at the face that begins to bear age but doesn’t get any less alluring.

You have until the 31st January, so go take a look!
