And what a way to arrive with an amazing launch party to really get the buzz going. Be prepared for a picture heavy post.
Having been open a few days before the launch, we’d already heard good things so with mum in tow, we were looking forward to seeing what all the fuss was about.
We arrived bang on time with the place already full of people and offered a glass of either prosecco or an aperol spritz.
Situated in the Regent Arcade, with an entrance off the street taking you straight into the restaurant and another inside the arcade, leading you into the Deli – ideal for lunchtime shoppers.
The walls are lined with Italian treats and beautiful paintings, transporting you to another place.
They have some amazing light features that give off a warm hue, making the atmosphere feel relaxed and inviting. There are some booths in the middle of the restaurant that give you a great view of what’s happening behind the scenes inside the kitchen.
Throughout the evening canapes of all descriptions were passed around on platters, giving us a taste of what Carluccio’s is all about – really good Italian cuisine. Wrapped parma harm was a great addition to the simple breadstick.
The food and drink was continuously flowing along with some great entertainment.
Later we were offered a plate of risotto and some sweet treats. The strawberries with balsamic was definitely a highlight for both mum and I.
The deli had some lovely delights so if you don’t have time to stop off in the restaurant, you could grab a bite to eat or take some of the culinary products home and cook up something yourself.
Thank you for a great party Carluccio’s, I’m looking forward to returning soon and exploring the full menu!
